An Impact Report is a per-user summary of completed volunteer involvement. It tallies the hours a user has contributed over a chosen date range, groups them by Opportunity, and produces a downloadable PDF.
It is commonly used to:
Administrators can generate, sign, and annotate an Impact Report for any user in their organization. Users can also generate their own report (without a signature).
Only completed shifts where hours have been logged are counted. Pending shifts and no-shows do not appear.
When an administrator generates the report, only shifts belonging to your organization are included, even if the user volunteers with multiple organizations.
Yes. The date range defaults to year to date and is fully adjustable. The Customize Report panel lets you set a different date window per Opportunity or hide specific Opportunities entirely.
When an administrator exports the report, a signature is required. A signature box appears where you can sign using your mouse, finger, or stylus. The export will not proceed until a signature is provided.
You can also add an optional custom note for context, for example "5 mandatory hours remaining" or "Hours verified for court-ordered service." Both the signature and the note are included on the exported PDF.
No. The signature and custom note are added to the PDF at the moment of export only. They are not stored on Vome, and there is no saved record of the signed report afterward.
For this reason, please download and keep the PDF when you export it. Each signed report is a one-time document.
The PDF lists completed hours grouped by Opportunity. When generated by an administrator, it also includes a signature block (administrator name, signed date, and signature) and the custom note if one was added. The file is named in the format VolunteerImpact_Name_Date.
Yes.
On the web, a user opens My Impact within their organization details, selects the organization, and generates the report. They can export it directly as a PDF. User-generated reports do not include a signature.
On the mobile app, a user can open the My Impact tab to view and filter their impact. Mobile is view only and does not support exporting.
Both use the same data, date range, and per-Opportunity customization. The differences are:
