How can I cancel a shift reservation?
If you’ve reserved a shift but can no longer attend, you can cancel your reservation directly through your Vome schedule. Here's how:
Steps to cancel a shift reservation:
-
Go to your Schedule page
Log in to your Vome account and navigate to the “Schedule” section from your dashboard.
Alternatively, you can click "View" on your Upcoming shift from your Home page.
-
Select the shift you wish to cancel
Click on the shift you have previously reserved. This will open the shift details.
-
Click the red Trash icon
On the top of the shift details screen, click the red Trash 🗑️ icon to begin the cancellation process.
-
Confirm cancellation and provide a reason
You’ll be prompted to confirm your cancellation and enter a brief reason. Once submitted, your reservation will be removed, and the opportunity will be reopened to others.
⚠️ Please note: Once you cancel your reservation, you will not be able to reserve the same shift again. If you wish to rejoin that shift, you must contact the organization directly. Also, depending on the organization’s cancellation policy, there may be a cut-off time for when cancellations are allowed. Frequent cancellations may also affect your eligibility for future shifts.
