How do custom Opportunity tags work on Vome?

Overview

Custom opportunity tags let organizations classify, filter, and report on opportunities however they like. You can:

  • Show tags to end users: This would effectively show the opportunity tag on your organization’s info page (both on the opportunity card and as a filter), and it would additionally be shown on the opportunity landing page. 

  • Hide tags: You can use them purely for internal reporting (e.g. when viewing the Reservations & Hours Log report)

Step 1: Add a Custom Tag to an Existing Opportunity

  1. Go to your Opportunities page from your left-hand side

  2. From the Actions dropdown (in the middle of the page), click Update details

  3. Click Edit next to Opportunity Tags

Step 2: Create a new custom tag

  1. Click New Tag

  2. Enter a Tag Name (e.g. “Location A”).

  3. (Optional) Check Visible to Users if you want users to see and filter by this tag from the org info page and opportunity landing page.

  4. Click Save.

Reporting with custom tags

To run a report by tag, simply go to Reports → Reservations & Hours Log and you will see it as a column!
