Limit number of form submissions per user on Vome

How do I limit the number of times a user can submit a form?

What does this setting do?

By default, every form on Vome can be submitted as many times as a person wants. The Limit number of submissions per user setting lets you cap that. For example, you can set it so that each user can only fill out a form once (or twice, or any number you choose).

Once someone reaches the limit, the next time they open the form they will no longer see the questions. Instead, they will see a message that reads "You have already submitted this form!", along with a note that the organization has limited how many times it can be submitted, and a button that takes them back to their homepage.

Info
A few things worth knowing:

1. The limit is per person, not total. If you set it to 1, every user gets one submission each. It does not cap the whole form at one response.
2. It only counts that individual's own past submissions of that specific form.
3. Leaving it off (the default) means unlimited submissions.

Where do I enable it?

  1. Go to the Forms page and open the form you want (or create / edit one).
  2. In the form builder, open the settings / schedule sidebar (the left-side options panel).
  3. Find the section titled "Limit number of submissions per user."
  4. Flip the toggle on.
  5. A box appears labeled "Max. # of submissions per user:" Type the number you want (1 to 99).
  6. Click Save.

Idea
To remove the limit later, just flip the toggle off. This clears it immediately and the form goes back to unlimited submissions.
