1. Prompting users to reupload attachments submitted through a form
When you create a form, you may have an attachment field, which can allow for an expiration date to be added to it.
You can now edit this attachment field from your portal to control your expiration settings, which would apply to any form that uses this field!
This is how you can set it up:1. Go to your Forms page
2. On the top of the page, click Manage Fields
3. Click Attachments
This should be a list of all of your attachments throughout your forms.
4. Find the attachment field you want users to reupload when it is expired > click Edit
5. You will see all "Expiration settings" on the bottom of this popup.
2. Prompting users to reupload files submitted through a sequence
When you create a sequence, you may have a a file upload or custom field file, which the admin can set an expiration date once a user is assigned to this step in a sequence.
You can now edit this file upload or custom field from your portal to control your expiration settings, which would apply to any sequence that uses this field!
This is how you can set it up:
1. Go to your Sequences page
2. On the top of the page, click Manage Fields

This should be a list of all of your fields throughout your sequences.
4. Find the field you want users to reupload when it is expired > click Edit
5. You will see all "Expiration settings" on the bottom of this popup.
3. How does this process work once I enable these expiration options?
If you enable all of the options -- what will happen is that all of your users who have submitted this attachment and it has expired, it will immediately trigger a notification to them to inform them they have an expired attachment and it needs to be reuploaded. When they login to their homepage, there will be a nice box on the top-left of their page to upload it!
Here is a screenshot to demonstrate what it will look like for users:
- Once the user reuploads it, it will notify the person assigned to the form or sequence as the coordinator letting them know!
- To view the newly submitted attachment, it will be found on the forms submission table or from your sequence page.
