How to Manage Users in a Sequence on Vome

The sequence details view gives you a full picture of every user assigned to a sequence, their current step, and their progress status. This is where you manage day-to-day sequence activity for all assigned profiles.

The Sequence Grid

You can toggle between two views using the Kanban and List options at the top of the grid. Each row represents one user profile and shows:

  • Name and database status (whether they are an active profile in your database).
  • Sequence status: Active, Paused, Finished, or Inactive.
  • Current step, marked with a star icon.
  • Step status: Pending, Uploaded, Submitted, Watched, Signed, Complete, or Expired.
  • An overdue badge if the step's due date has passed, showing the number of days overdue.
  • The step's due date, the date the step was assigned, and the date the user started the sequence.

Filtering the Grid

You can filter the grid to find exactly who you need:

  • By sequence status (Active, Paused, Finished, Inactive).
  • By step status (Complete, Pending, Uploaded, Submitted, Watched, Signed, Expired).
  • By profile tags (using operators like is, is not, is empty, is not empty).
  • By database status (in database or not in database).

Per-Profile Actions

Clicking on any user opens a side panel where you can take direct action on that profile:

  • Assign them to opportunities and shifts.
  • Move them to the next step manually.
  • Finish the current step on their behalf.
  • Manage the current step (update a form status, complete checklist items, view an upload).
  • Jump them to any step in the sequence using the Change Step option.
  • Change their sequence status between Active, Paused, Finished, and Inactive.
  • View their full profile page.
  • Add admin notes visible only to your team.
  • Contact them by email or chat.

Bulk Actions

You can select multiple users in the grid to perform actions across all selected profiles at once, including bulk status changes and bulk step advancement. This is useful for moving groups of users forward after a batch review or event.

Adding Users to a Sequence

From the Actions menu at the top of the sequence details page, select Assign Users to bulk-add profiles to the sequence. If the sequence is visible to users, they will be notified upon assignment. If it is admin-only, they are added silently.
