How Do I React to a Message?

Reactions let you respond to a message with an emoji instead of sending a full reply.

1. How do I react to a message?

Hover over a message and click the heart that appears on the bubble, or open the message's three-dots menu. Pick one of the six quick emojis (thumbs up, heart, laugh, thanks, check, and surprise), or use the Add reaction button to choose any other emoji.

2. Can I use an emoji other than the ones shown?

Yes. Use the Add reaction button to pick any other emoji.

3. How do I remove or change my reaction?

You get one reaction per message. Tap your current reaction to remove it, or tap a different emoji to switch.

4. How do I see who reacted?

Reactions collect into a small pill on the message. Click it to see who reacted and with what. Your own reaction sits at the top with a Click to remove option. Before anyone reacts, the detail card reads "No reactions yet."
