How does it work when I add the "Shifts" section to the application form?

When adding the Shifts section to the application form, you are allowing volunteers to pre-select shifts and attach them to their application form. However, the volunteer can only be approved to shifts once they are approved for the opportunity. Therefore, once the volunteer's application status is approved, the shifts that were added to their application form will become shift requests that can then be approved by the administrator.

If Instant Book is enabled, once the volunteer's application is approved for the opportunity, the shifts added to their application form will immediately become booked and confirmed.
