Volunteers can only reserve spots to shifts if the organization is using Vome Pro.
There are so many ways to schedule shifts on Vome! Let’s start with the most traditional method, creating shifts for volunteers to reserve.
A shift consists of a date, time slot and # of spots available.
For example, imagine a typical food bank, which has shifts every Tuesday & Thursday from 12:00PM – 2:00PM. For each shift, they allow 10 volunteers to reserve spots.
Once you have created shifts for your opportunity, it’s time to assign attendees!
As an administrator, there are two (2) ways for you to assign attendees to shifts:
1. Select a shift and click Add
2. Click Actions and then click Mass assign shifts
In addition, volunteers who are approved to your opportunity will be able to view and reserve spots to shifts.
There are two (2) ways for a volunteer to become approved to an opportunity.
