I received a new applicant in the Forms module. What does the "Add to database" button do?

The Forms module is generally where you will store your application forms and be able to view all submissions.

When a new Vome User submits a form (generally an application form) for the first time, they are likely not already an existing user in your Vome database.

Therefore, when managing new form submission, you click on a user's profile to see if there's an option saying "Add to database". By taking this action,  you can transition this user's basic profile information from the Forms module to the Database module without you having to do any manual data entry. Otherwise, the user will simply remain in your Forms module until any further action is taken by an admin!

Any further action to be take on this user by an admin will generally require that you add the user to your database, such as:
  1. Assigning them to a sequence (for onboarding purposes)
  2. Assigning them to an opportunity
  3. Assigning them to a shift
Upon adding a user's profile to the database, take note of the immediate actions you can take while doing this workflow.
A common example is that while you'll add a user to your database, if they are a new applicant, you'll want to simultaneously add them to an onboarding sequence.
