Once you submit an application form, several scenarios may unfold depending on your organization's recruitment process.

Please note that your application must be processed by the organization. As a result, you may need to wait until further steps are taken.

Alternatively, certain automations may be triggered immediately after the form submission, placing you directly into the next steps. You will also receive a confirmation email from Vome indicating that your form was successfully submitted. The organization may also leave you a note in the notification.

If you haven’t heard back

If you haven’t heard back from the organization after some time regarding your application, we recommend that you follow up directly with the organization, as Vome is not responsible for handling your application.


Possible Scenarios:

1) Waiting for a Vome notification indicating that you've been assigned to one or more onboarding sequences

This means you’re about to begin a welcome or onboarding process defined by the organization.


2) Waiting for a Vome notification indicating that you've been assigned to one or more opportunities

In this case, you’ll be able to view and reserve available shifts, if the organization has enabled that functionality at the opportunity level.


3) Waiting for a Vome notification indicating that you've been assigned to one or more shifts within an opportunity

These shifts will be visible from the Schedule tab of your portal.
Once assigned to a shift, you’re automatically approved for the opportunity it belongs to, meaning you can view and reserve other available shifts within that opportunity at any time afterward.
