What Happens When I Finish a Sequence?

Completing all steps in a sequence is a meaningful milestone. Here is what to expect when you reach the end.

Finishing the Last Step

When you complete the final step in your sequence, one of two things will happen depending on how your organization has set things up:

  • You may be automatically marked as finished and moved to the next stage without any further action needed.
  • You may need to confirm completion manually using a Finish Step or Move to Next Step button, if your organization has enabled self-completion for that step.

Before confirming, Vome will let you know that completing this step will mark you as finished in the entire sequence and that the sequence will no longer be visible from your homepage.

The Completion Confirmation

Once you are marked as finished, a congratulations message will appear confirming that you have successfully completed the sequence. After dismissing this message, you will be returned to your homepage and the sequence will no longer appear there.

What Comes Next

Finishing a sequence may automatically trigger additional steps in your journey, depending on your organization's setup. This can include:

  • Being enrolled in a new sequence.
  • Being approved and added to a volunteer opportunity.
  • Receiving new profile tags.
  • Gaining access to specific areas or sites within the organization's Vome account.

Your organization's coordinator will also be notified when you finish the sequence.

Can I Access the Sequence After Finishing?

Once you are marked as finished, the sequence will be removed from your homepage and you will no longer be able to access it directly. If you need to reference something from a completed sequence, contact your organization's coordinator.
