What is the difference between "Active profiles" and "Archived profiles" in the database?

In the database, you can toggle between Active profiles or Archived profiles.




Active profile definition:
  1. By default, when a profile is added to your database, Offline or Vome User, they will be added to the Active profiles list.
  2. At any time, an active profile can be moved to the archived profile list.
Archived profile definition:
  1. When a profile is transitioned from the active to archived list, they will be unassigned from all of their approved opportunities.
  2. All of the data related to their previously assigned opportunities (i.e. hours logged, shift history, etc.) will still be saved, however they will no longer be able to reserve upcoming shifts or claim hours.
  3. At any time, an archived profile can be reactivated and moved back to the active profile list. When this action is done, you can choose to re-approve some or all of their opportunities since Vome will not automatically do re-approve them.
  4. To reactive a profile, go to Archived profiles > Select the profile > Actions > Reactivate. See screenshot below:
