Overview

Vome Achievements are a four-tier badge ladder: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum.

You climb it by completing challenges, which award Vome Points (VP). Every volunteer can earn them, on every plan, and they follow you across everything you do on Vome rather than belonging to one organization.

1. How do I earn Vome Points?

By completing challenges. Challenges are built around activity milestones, such as completing a certain number of shifts or logging a certain number of hours.

Different challenges are worth different amounts, and your Achievements page shows what each one is worth before you complete it.

2. Where do I see my progress?

On your Achievements page. It shows the badge you currently hold, the points you have earned, the challenges still available to you, and how many VP remain until the next badge.

3. Why are my hours not counting towards a challenge?

Almost always because the hours have not been logged with the organization yet.

Turning up is not what counts. The hours have to be recorded, either by checking in and out on the day or by claiming them afterwards. If neither happened, there is nothing for the challenge to count.

4. Are Vome achievements the same as my organization's awards?

No, and they are easy to confuse. They are two separate things:

• Vome Achievements. The Bronze to Platinum ladder in this article. Platform-wide, earned through challenges, and the same for everyone on Vome. Nobody at your organization decides these.
• Awards. Created and given by an individual organization, in their own words, for whatever they choose to recognise. One organization's awards mean nothing to another.

5. How do I export my badge?

Open the Awards module, then the Awards by Vome tab. Your current badge appears in its own card there, with an Export button. This works the same way whether you are on the web or on the Vome mobile app.

On the web, Export downloads an image of your badge. On the mobile app, Export opens your device's share sheet, so you can save the image, send it, or post it directly from there.

This is also how to show your organization which badge you have, if they ask.

6. Can I share a badge once I earn one?

Yes. Plenty of people post them, and you are welcome to tag Vome when you do.
