Hours logged counts every person-hour recorded on a completed shift, guests included.
Person-hours is the important part. A three hour shift with four people on it contributes twelve hours, not three.
In two places, under slightly different names:
No. Unlike the view metrics beside it, the Logged hours card on your dashboard is a running total rather than a 28 day window, so it only ever goes up.
If you need hours for a specific period, use your reports instead of this card.
Because the shift has to be completed and its hours actually recorded. Attendance on its own is not enough.
Hours reach this metric one of two ways:
If neither happened, there is nothing for the metric to count, no matter who turned up. This is the single most common reason the figure looks lower than expected.
Yes. Guests brought in on a group reservation are counted as person-hours like anyone else.
This is worth knowing if you run community or corporate days, because a handful of group bookings can move this number a great deal.
Those can be added manually to a profile as Hours Logged (Off-Vome), which is how organizations bring in history from before they joined or work tracked elsewhere.
Off-Vome hours have their own hourly impact value rate, set separately under Manage impact value, so historical hours do not have to be valued at the same rate as current ones.
Because the Logged hours card is not included on the free plan. The label still shows, without a figure.
