How Does the SCORM Cloud Integration Work on Vome?

Overview

SCORM Cloud is an e-learning platform that allows organizations to manage training requirements using SCORM-compliant course files. It tracks detailed learner progress and completion data within each course.

Vome has partnered with SCORM Cloud to allow administrators to add e-learning courses directly into volunteer sequences. Volunteers can access their assigned courses directly from Vome, while progress and completion are tracked automatically.

Important Pricing Information

  • SCORM Cloud uses its own pricing model based on the number of course registrations and overall usage volume.

  • Vome does not charge any additional fees to track course progress or statuses within Vome.

How the Integration Works

E-Learning Courses in Sequences

  • SCORM Cloud courses are added as steps within Vome’s Sequences module.

  • When a volunteer reaches a SCORM Cloud step, they can access the course directly from that step.

  • Volunteers can only access the course while they are actively on that step.

  • Administrators receive step updates and completion notifications just like any other sequence step.

Viewing Detailed Course Progress

  • Vome tracks whether the sequence step is pending or completed.

  • For detailed learner progress, time spent, and in-course activity, administrators must log into SCORM Cloud.

  • All granular course data is available directly within SCORM Cloud.

How to Add a SCORM Course to a Sequence

Step 1: Navigate to Sequences

  1. Go to your Sequences page in Vome.

  2. Create or edit an existing sequence.

Step 2: Add an E-Learning Step

  1. Add a new e-learning step to the sequence.

  2. Enter a title and description for the course.

  3. Upload the SCORM-compliant ZIP file.

Once uploaded:

  • The course will automatically process in Vome.

  • The file will be uploaded to your SCORM Cloud account.

  • The step will function like any other sequence step.
